There’s an interesting article written by Graciela Chichilnisky about the lack of women going after science degrees in college. She is a Professor of Statistics at Columbia University and holds the UNESCO Chair of Mathematics and Economics.
In her article, Chichilnisky talks about salary gap, lack of role models for young girls, and how Columbia University should tackle this problem. It is a very good article especially for girls looking into the field of science and technology.
