Washington University is located in St. Louis, Missouri, and is a medium sized university with around 7,400 undergraduates.
St. Louis in Missouri downtown area has a decent shopping area but it’s not the best. There isn’t a lot of variety of stores. What’s nice about St. Louis is that the best shopping places are spread throughout the city.
Washington University has a gorgeous campus. Wash U has open fields and safe suburban feel to it. Wash U and forest park are an amazing area which is well maintained with sufficient Wash U funding. People say that you can a mix of the big city feel as well as the comfortable suburban feel.
Washington U has recently done extensive renovations; the traditional dorms have been renovated to newer modern dorms that give you an almost majestic feeling.
Most people say the social life is great, though your social life is what you make of it.
One of the downsides of Wash U is the lack of sports. Washington University does not have a strong sports program and the entire school will not gather to watch football games.
